Thank you for visiting this page to learn more about Grayson's struggle with Type 1 Diabetes.
Since Grayson was diagnosed on August 1st 2006 just two weeks after his first birthday, our family has been on a journey living with diabetes and caring for him 24x7. We are now doing the job of his pancreas, and the challenge has been made easier with help from JDRF.
As they seek to find a cure they also find ways to better manage the disease to help kids and adults alike try to lead as normal a life as possible. Projects like Super Insulin, Encapsulation, and the Artificial Pancreas are promising in terms of management, and research progress could yeild a cure for Type 1 within Grayson's lifetime.
Grayson's Family and Friends are taking part in this year's JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. Follow the link to Grayson's walk team to join us or sponsor us with a donation - any amount helps. Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference. Together, we can make the cure a reality!
